The fire in Prospect Park was worse than I thought. I thought it had been in the Nethermead, where some BBQ-ing is permitted. It was in The Ravine, the home to of "Brooklyn's Last Forest". It spread to 2 acres before it was extinguished.

I want to see the area first-hand. I'll wait until 1) the *New jersey* wildfire smoke clears out, and 2) after the weekend, with fewer looky-loos.
