OliverAfter passing Lillehammer (remember the Winter Games 1994?) we encountered this site near Fåvang scaffolded in fog in the early morning. Still not knowing what "Rom" (city of Rome?) has to do with this, we didn't think further about the potential meaning of the painted letters. Great scenery anyway! Swede’s PhotographsGood morning. ☕☕☕1 December 2023I mentioned in an earlier post that it was coming, now it is here, December the most expensive month of the year. For me, it's actually December and January. The only Christmas gifts I buy are for my wife, the kids and grandkids all get gift cards - it adds up. Oh, and there are property taxes due, house insurance and auto insurance, and anything else that comes up. This year, that "anything else" is pretty substantial. But in a month, it'll be 2024, a year that I never really expected to be around for, but here I am, still here. I keep managing our money as if we'll live another 30 years, though I know that won't happen. My wife is just the opposite and we haggle over the big stuff - I suppose we keep each other in check. I've made <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Fulldome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Fulldome</a> movies about <a href="https://aus.social/tags/DarkMatter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#DarkMatter</a> and <a href="https://aus.social/tags/AboriginalSonglines" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#AboriginalSonglines</a>, and experiment with novel types of <a href="https://aus.social/tags/ImmersiveMedia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ImmersiveMedia</a> and <a href="https://aus.social/tags/HCI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#HCI</a> for <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Museum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Museum</a> and <a href="https://aus.social/tags/GLAM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GLAM</a> applications.
