Two new pens in the rotation for the next two weeks
I finally got a Kaweco Sport fountain pen and I am excited to use this classic pen. The other new pen is the Jinhao 82
I've had the Liliput on my mind lately for some reason, so I decided to ink that up, as well as an M400 that I recently lent out for hire.
What are you thinking of the ink combination?
The blue is watered down, but I like the earthy tones with the ‘pastel’!
I had an interview yesterday at a stationery shop and I was asked a very cool question.
“Sell me a pen,” I was asked. So I got some info from the interviewer; they said they:
Like a fine point Need a lot of ink Wanted a fountain pen
I suggested a Pilot 823. Japanese pens have finer nibs, it’s a vacuum filling pen, and (err) it’s a fountain pen!
Anyone would have suggested anything else?
Jasper the Cat ‘helped’ me with my watercolor practice today, but there seems to be no permanent damage to my desk. I persevered, and finished the leaf study I had set myself.

I accidentally bought a pen.. it happens!
In the ten years that I’ve been into the pen hobby, I’ve never had a Kaweco Sport and recently I’ve been contemplating remedying this fact
(Never owned a Safari either.. maybe the next on my list?)
Saw this pen on eBay for a good price, put a bid and forgot about it until I got a notification telling me I won the auction!

I love it when staples are coated, rather than just being a regular chrome colour; these black ones help make the luminous orange gridlines POP
It has taken me 22 days to get here.. a hairline above a page a day!
I find that staple days are great to take stock of what’s written and rediscover ideas, thoughts, and the occasional doodle

My Quo Vadis notebook came on the weekend and I’m super excited to dive into it and create a new system
Life is busy at the moment and I don’t think I’ll get round to it until next week, but the thought of sitting down with pens sprawled in front of me and a good beverage to accompany me feels like the light at the end of the tunnel
(I couldn’t help but at least mark my territory on it for now..)
This 30 caliber bolt action pen and pencil set is on it's way to the customer. they had ordered it for a relative who enjoys hunting.
