My Phd students & I just wrapped up two lovely and exhilarating weeks guiding our fresh MSc students on a journey from understanding the command line and the cluster to cleaning Illumina reads, assembling/annotating genomes, and performing a mini GWAS.

It's super gratifying to see the new students gain new powers. But holy crap it was really exhausting too!!
