One of the particularly narrow niche skills that I've developed over the years is the ability to reliably find trilobite beetles.

This one here is the most common species in forests around Kuala Lumpur: Platerodrillus ruficollis.

@rakyat I've had one crawl all over my hand, but then again I wasn't very aggressive with it.

@ubi The bite was very mild only & not itchy/painful afterwards, sort of like getting bitten by weaver ants.
