Happy #Minnesota #FossilFriday! More on the horse of course. The next year of the horse isn't until 2026 but the last couple of years were great for finding horse specimens for me and a fellow amateur fossil hunter in Southern Minnesota.

These more modern finds are all from riverbed gravel bars in Southern Minnesota. The area has a mix of glacial sediments crossing over Cenomanian siltstone, sandstone, and limestone.
