Hey @Codeberg, I just found out about you and am looking forward to getting to know you better!

For now, I have the following question. I am a postdoctoral researcher and when I write a scientific manuscript, I usually upload code to GitHub under a Free Software License. This code mainly replicates the analyses of the study and is usually not developed further. Would it be appropriate to host such repositories on Codeberg or is it meant to only hold projects being actively developed? Thanks!

@DGKontopoulos Codeberg can also hold archived code or projects that are on hold.

@Codeberg Thanks for the reply! I will move my activities to Codeberg then! I just wanted to first make sure that I am not going against the intended use of the platform. 🙂

@DGKontopoulos One more thing from the other volunteer running this account: We dob't have any ORCID-related integrations yet, I don't think that Zenodo can actually work with Codeberg either.

However, we'd be very happy if someone were to document usage instructions for academic workflows.

Ευχαριστώ για το ενδιαφέρον. :)
