INRAE InstitutionnelUn nouveau laboratoire partenarial associé en écologie aquatiqueCOMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE REGIONAL - INRAE, l’université de Pau et des pays de l’Adour et SCIMABIO Interface s’engagent pour la création d’un laboratoire partenarial associé (LPA). Nommé MODMAF pour MOvements and Demography for the MAnagement of Fish, ce futur LPA a pour mission principale un transfert adapté des connaissances et compétences scientifiques en écologie aquatique. Le thème abordé est le développement et la valorisation de modèles et outils statistiques pour les études de démographie et déplacements de poissons. Une première dans le cadre de la Convention d’objectifs et de moyens signée en 2022 entre INRAE et l’université afin de répondre aux enjeux multiples de résilience et adaptation des écosystèmes aquatiques aux changements globaux, de biodiversité.
