The UK warns British lawyers about possible US sanctions over advice to the ICC in its Israel case.

The UK’s foreign office has warned senior British lawyers they're at risk of sanctions by the Trump administration because of advice they provided to the International Criminal Court on Israel’s conduct in Gaza.

Several leading human rights barristers provided advice to the ICC as to whether there was sufficient evidence to charge.

Senior barristers, retired judges and academics have been told that they and their families could be banned from visiting the United States because of their association with the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) investigation into alleged war crimes in Gaza.

They have also been advised to take pre-emptive measures to protect their finances.

For environmental reasons, the city of The Hague (usually my home town) banned billboards that advertise cruises and flights.

Several travel companies sued, saying that The Hague violates their interests and their freedom of expression.

Court: the city wins; the ban can remain in place.

A wrong turn on a bridge at the US-Canada border sees Detroit woman & her US-born kids facing deportation

"The Michigan Democrat said she was told on March 21 by CBP that about 213 people had been detained at the same location since January, with more than 90% mistakenly driving onto the bridge’s toll plaza. Tlaib also said she was told 12 families had been detained in the same building where Robinson’s client was held."
