Been heartbroken the last few days because Luigi found the back door open and slipped out. I always knew she dreamed of going back to live in her garden, so I thought I'd never see her again. But this morning, I looked out the window and there she was at the top of the garden wall, meowing. She climbed down and ran over when I came out with a bowl of food. I scooped her up & brought her in. Boy was she hungry!
Guess birds aren't so easy to catch, are they??
Kona, a mostly black tortoiseshell cat, loves biting plastic tape and labels. She comes running whenever tape is being peeled up. Fortunately, she doesn't want to eat it - just sink her teeth into it Sometimes she'll just sit there with her teeth firmly planted.

Alea the Black Cat was adamant I'd follow her on a hike. As usual we ended up meandering along the steep side of the old esker behind my house, and I'm pretty sure she wanted to show me something. But when we arrived at the spot it was empty. Still don't know what it was, and at this place - close to the bog and a possible old sacrficial site - it could be anything. We're safely back at home now, one tiny adventure richer.
Piccetti can’t taste sugar, can’t digest gluten and has never ever paid attention to apple bites the times I tried feeding them to him. Ever. Nevertheless,
While I've been on a sticky sticker spree, here's a delightful dose of cuteness to brighten your day: feast your eyes on Horace in all his adorable glory!
