What would you do?
Mom has been quite sick for a week. After my dad's recent hospital experience, she's been loathe to go to a hospital herself. On Thursday she gave in and went to emerg (on docs advice, by ambulance) only to be treated poorly, her concerns ignored, then told to go home. Alone. She's 80. I suggested she go to urgent care today, that they are better, then I discovered it's closed until the end of the month!
WTF are we supposed to do? This is health care in #Alberta. #yeg

Were you tragically unable to attend our recent Paleo 2025 symposium? Were you there but want to listen to one of the talks again? You're in luck! We've just posted the talk recordings to our YouTube page. There's a dedicated playlist for the Paleo 2025 talks, which can be found at

I’ve had a tremendous response to my latest episode of Alberta Unbound, about Little Red River Cree Nation in northern Alberta, a community devastated by two years of wildfires, and left in the lurch by governments and corporations that seem more interested in making problems than solving them. This convo with Chief Conroy Sewepagaham should be a must listen for every Albertan and Canadian. #Alberta #cdnpoli #wildfires

People in #Alberta and #Saskachtchewan aren't happy with #Canada, especially Loberal governments. What would it take to make them happier? IMHO, they shouldn't be ignored.
