@media_dept Most Linux distros arent like Windows or Apple...theres no central company employing hundreds of workers. Often just a guy piecing components together that were made by other guys...from home. Plus some components from companies like Red Hat or Ubuntu. So there's not really anything to be green for most distros...but they use components from the companies that do exist . You'll be happy with Cinnamon Mint.
Heres some info about Mint developers here: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=405940
@rspfau @media_dept Fedora = Red Hat = IBM = hundred billion dollar corporation
OpenSuse = EQT AB (Swedish Private Equity firm with hundreds of billions in assets under management)
Ubuntu = Canonical = hundred million dollar corporation
@aral Totally! I edited my post b/c I meant to say "most" arent companies but that most are linked back to the companies in some way or another. I.e. it's complicated.
@rspfau Indeed :)
