@strykeroz @aenesidemusoz I've seen references to mud daubers using vibrations to liquify the mud as they manipulate it. This image is from video I filmed a few years ago that shows the vibration and manipulation as Sceliphron wasps harvested mud. The wasp is standing on mud with its face pointing down, and is excavating a ball of mud, which is visible under between its front legs. There is a caption in the image since it is from a video clip caption says "Push in, down, and pull. Controlled vibration would also allow for precise shaping of the ball."
