@wallacewords @ml We almost started a riot by blasting "Bixby sucks!" from loudspeakers out my room's windows during a big Segundo waterfight. Luckily, no one ever figured out who did it because we were the Quiet Floor.

@wallacewords But seriously, we recorded the chant on a cassette then played it back on my stereo with big speakers pointing out the windows. A bunch of Bixby guys came down the hall knocking on every door trying to figure out where it was coming from, and when they got to our room there are 8-10 of us crowded in there, WITH BIG SPEAKERS POINTED OUT THE WINDOWS, and the Bixby guys asked, "was that coming from here?"

And I looked them right in the eye and said, of course not, we're the quiet floor!

And they said, oh, and apologized, closed the door, and continued their quest!

On my first day of college I realized that my peers were not as brilliant as I had assumed every Cal Aggie would be.
